Tummy fillers at Starbucks Harbour Square after watching Carlos Celdran's Livin' La Vida Imelda at CCP. We're huge fans of him so we try to attend his events as much as we can.

Pho Hoa

Excited for Christmas
November 14, 2012

This was during one of our spontaneous trips to Makati. We've seen tweets regarding the Christmas lights at the Ayala Triangle but didn't research so much about it (talk about YOLO haha). We just went there and to our suprise, the light shows wouldn't be taking place until next week. We found ourselves hungry as it was already dinner time. We walked thru the underground tunnel to cross the street and to reach Pho Hoa.

J's Plate: Grilled Pork with Fried Spring Rolls with Rice

C loves Crispy Noodles!

Lemon Tea to match the cold weather and the good food

After eating, we went back to the Triangle to pass time. It was even drizzling. To our great surprise, the technical staff of the Light Show were having a run through of the show! We watched how the lights danced to the tune of Christmas songs. Indeed, great things come to those who wait. Our YOLO-ing wasn't put to waste.

Back to School
November 12, 2012

After being away from college, I'm officially back! :)
On that day, J kept on asking where I was and I was thinking that maybe he was just as excited as I was regarding getting back to school.
I planned to take the jeepney to school. I was walking briskly when suddenly, somebody tapped my shoulder and to my surprise, it was him! He handed me the bouquet of roses and walked me to school. He explained that he kept on monitoring where I was because he was already in the vicinity an hour and a half ago, and was worried that maybe I left for school already without him noticing.

It's been a very sweet and memorable gesture which indeed made my first day back in the university a great one.

Colorful yema roses.
